Thread Recommendation: 3 strands of cotton embroidery floss (separated one by one from a 6-strand skein).

Follow the grid lines for the feather stitch, varying the stitch length and placing the petals at your preferred distance to keep the design looking whimsical. Use the chessboard pattern alternating satin stitch vertically and horizontally to add unique texture to the crab motif.
