Neelam Zero Waste Tunic Dress Digital Pattern
The Neelam Zero Waste Tunic is a classic kurta-style tunic featuring a drawstring to adjust the waist to the person’s body. The dress has a V-neck with inverted stitched interfacing using one of the remaining fabric strips.
Skill Level: Intermediate
The pattern is designed with our Indigo Speckled Khadi Cotton Fabric and with a concept to minimize fabric waste by using a full 2-meter length. Leftover strips are repurposed for details such as the neckline and belt.

Fabric Requirement: 2 meters of fabric with a minimum width of 84 cm.

Fabric Suggestions: Fabrics with a light handwoven texture to achieve fine detailing; light to medium-weight woven such as cotton khadi, cotton chambray, handlooms, hemp/cotton, or lightweight denim (65-100 gsm).

Sewing Tools & Notions: Tailor’s chalk, measuring tape, sewing machine, embroidery thread and needle (for buttonhole stitch), scissors and iron.

To increase bust, waist, and hip, you will have to use fabric wider than 84 cm.

Returns & Exchanges: Our products are handmade, and each piece carries artisanal qualities. Slight variations in embroidery and finish are natural and reflect the unique stamp of each artisan. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we do accept returns. We request you to send us an email at info@wenlinstudio.com explaining the reason for your return within 7 days after you receive your package. Please remember to also provide us with your name, your address and your order number. After your request has been approved, we will send you an email authorizing you to send us back the products. The email will also include the appropriate instructions and destination address. The products must be received unused and in their original packaging.
