The design is inspired by Banjara embroidery traditions from both Pakistan and India. In Pakistan, Banjara embroidery often blends with regional Sindhi and southern Punjabi styles. Known for its dense stitching, bold geometric patterns, vibrant cotton threads, and mirror work, Banjara embroidery reflects the artistry of a nomadic culture. With this kit, I aim to honor and revive these rich traditions, telling a story of migration, resilience, and identity through every stitch.
The central motif features a stylized Banjara diamond, framed by geometric elements. You’ll use four traditional stitches with the provided 6-strand cotton skeins. An instruction guide is included to walk you through the full embroidery process.

- 32 × 32 cm 100% linen panel with pre-drawn Chakor pattern
- 13 cotton embroidery skeins (6-strand): 7 Navy, 4 Blue, 2 Grey
- Embroidery needles (suitable for 3-strand and 6-strand work)
- Stitch & color guide with diagrams and step-by-step instructions
- Embroidery hoop
- Four fabric edge strips (to loosely baste along the edges to prevent fraying; remove after embroidery is complete)

While executing embroideries, it is only natural that the artisans interpret the sketched design and the mock-up embroideries in their unique way and leave a stamp of their own personalities on the product. We believe that these slight differences in our products is a desirable trait, but if you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept returns. We request you to send us an email at info@wenlinstudiolondon.com explaining the reason for your return within 7 days after you receive your package. Please remember to also provide us with your name, your address and your order number. After your request has been approved, we will send you an email authorizing you to send us back the products. The email will also include the appropriate instructions and destination address. The products must be received unused and in their original packaging.
