The inspiration for every design in our collection comes from our surroundings. We prefer to use gouache to sketch our ideas and designs on acid free paper. We then explore the relation between different embroidery stitches and our designs. We create embroidery mock-ups in our London studio, experimenting with contemporary hand embroidery techniques. Those hand embroidered mock-ups then serve as a reference for our artisans in Punjab and contribute towards the development of embroideries for our line of Hua Bag Pouches.
