Bangali Kantha and Sindhi Gindi are both traditional South Asian embroidery techniques that repurpose fabrics, with Kantha being fine and figurative, while Gindi is coarse and geometric. Both reflect cultural heritage and continue to inspire contemporary textile art.

Today we are celebrating all the amazing women that are behind the Wenlin Studio project.

To start with each design in our collection, we first gather inspiration from our surroundings. Our favourite media to sketch our ideas and designs in the studio is gouache. We hand paint each design using gouache on acid free paper.
